Job Description:

We are a well-established Chartered Accountancy firm located in Park Street, Kolkata, looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate must be a B.Com graduate with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a CA firm environment, especially in Tally, ITR filing, ROC work, and audit procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping using Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime

- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, and companies

- Assist in ROC filing and ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements





- Support in conducting Statutory, Tax, and Internal Audits

- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain ledgers

- Ensure accurate and timely accounting entries and financial documentation

- Collaborate with senior accountants/CAs in financial reporting and tax planning

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- B.Com graduate from a recognized university

- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and basic accounting principles

- Working knowledge of ITR filing, ROC compliance, and audit processes

- Solid attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to work under deadlines
