Career Express is hiring a full time QA–DI–LR Faculty for our Surat centre.

We are looking for someone with strong mathematical fundamentals, quantitative aptitude, analytical and logical reasoning skills — and, most importantly, the ability to make complex problems simple for students.

Prior experience teaching QA/DI/LR for CAT or other competitive examinations is strongly preferred. However, we are also open to experienced Mathematics faculty and high-potential freshers with exceptional subject knowledge and a genuine aptitude for teaching.

This is a FULL-TIME, IN-OFFICE role based in SURAT. Please apply only if you are based in Surat or willing to relocate.

The faculty member will primarily train students preparing for IPMAT, CLAT, CUET and other undergraduate aptitude-based entrance examinations.

What You Will Teach

You will teach and develop expertise across:

- Quantitative Aptitude – Arithmetic, Algebra, Number Systems, Geometry, Mensuration, Modern Mathematics and other aptitude-based topics
- Data Interpretation – Tables, Charts, Graphs, Caselets and Data-based Problem Solving
- Logical & Analytical Reasoning – Arrangements, Puzzles, Sequences, Logical Deduction and other exam-specific reasoning concepts

The exact syllabus and difficulty level will vary across different entrance examinations.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning for competitive entrance examinations.
- Deliver engaging, concept-driven and exam-oriented classroom sessions.




- Build strong conceptual foundations while teaching students effective problem-solving approaches.
- Help students improve speed, accuracy, question selection and test-taking strategy .
- Adapt teaching approaches for students with different levels of mathematical ability.
- Conduct doubt-solving, revision and practice sessions.
- Create and curate study material, worksheets, question banks, assignments and mock tests .
- Analyse student performance and identify conceptual and problem-solving gaps.
- Mentor students on preparation strategy and examination approach.
- Stay updated with changing exam patterns, question types and competitive-exam pedagogy.
- Contribute to curriculum development, academic planning and new program development .

Who Should Apply?We Strongly Prefer Candidates With:
- Prior experience teaching Quantitative Aptitude, DI and/or LR for CAT or other competitive examinations .
- Excellent mathematical fundamentals and analytical ability.
- Robust aptitude-based problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, structured and engaging manner .
- Ability to teach multiple approaches to a problem rather than relying solely on formulas or shortcuts.
- Strong classroom communication and student engagement skills.
- Familiarity with competitive-exam preparation and time-bound problem-solving.
- Experience developing questions, mock tests or academic content will be an advantage.

Prior CAT QA/DI/LR teaching experience is strongly preferred , although the role will primarily involve training students for undergraduate entrance examinations.

Maths Teachers Looking to Move into Test Prep Are Welcome

You do not necessarily need prior test-prep experience to be considered.

If you are currently a Mathematics teacher or faculty member and have:

- Excellent command over Mathematics,
- Strong aptitude and logical thinking,
- The ability to teach concepts rather than just procedures,
- An interest in puzzles and analytical problem-solving, and




- The willingness to learn competitive-exam patterns and pedagogy,

we would be interested in exploring your candidature.

For freshers, we value subject knowledge, problem-solving ability, communication and teaching potential over prior experience alone.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline with strong quantitative aptitude.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical ability.
- Prior CAT/test-prep teaching experience is strongly preferred but not mandatory.
- Experienced Mathematics faculty interested in transitioning into aptitude training are encouraged to apply.
- Freshers with exceptional subject knowledge and teaching aptitude may also apply.
