- Patient Oriented:
- Assist the technologists set the patients on the machine, [LA /CT Scan]
- Assist the anesthetist in administering the anesthesia for the Brachytherapy patient in the department.
- Assist the oncologists in administering the Brachytherapy.
- Administer IV contrast for the CT Scan planning patients.
- Maintain a cordial relationship with the patient coming for the treatment in the department.
- Aid a patient in the wheelchair or stretcher to the treatment couch and back.
- Inventory Oriented:
- Maintaining inventory records of Crash cart
- Indenting materials
- Daily stock checks of materials
- Showing Consumption of used materials
- Medication related:
- Maintaining inventory records of medicines used in the Brachy therapy
- Indenting medicines
- Daily stock checks of medicines
- Showing Consumption of used medicines
- Department related:
- Co-ordinating with the patient and doctor, and technologists and also the Major OT booking and the booking of an anesthetist for the Brachytherapy.
- Maintain a list of the patients treated in the department and for what in the Brachtherapy.
- Co-ordinate with the front office for the billing of the patients on Brachytherapy.
