Senior Research Analyst-I/II
Description
Working in Gurugram, India, you will be integrated with the Global Research function that provides research support to Kearney consultants globally. Within the function, you will join the team that focuses on business research in the Data and analytics domain delivering deep insight into the market dynamics (industry and domain-specific) and innovative technology advancements to enhance the competitiveness of our clients as well as internal teams and keep them ahead of rapidly evolving techniques, technologies, regulations, and market trends.
Key Responsibilities
· Work with Kearney Analytics Practice leaders in the firm to shape up critical business decisions and technology needs on Data and Analytics topics with research insights
· Perform a research-centric role and support the development of artifacts such as use cases, advanced analytics and related technology primers, fact packs, case studies, proposals, articles, whitepapers, and business development materials
· Work as part of the client service team, leading a workstream in the area of expertise and/or providing short-term support delivering key insights in content-focused questions
· Organize, analyze, and synthesize findings into targeted, firm-formatted end products including single exhibits, written summaries and spreadsheets, or more in-depth fact packs, primers, and firm knowledge documents
· Clearly extract the “so-what” and implications of the data utilizing advanced analytics and related technology concepts, trends, and standard conceptual frameworks
· Develop relationships with consultants to display impact and work closely with senior leadership of the Kearney Analytics team
· Actively contribute to firm’s responsibilities and processes (Global Coordination, SER) while being operationally diligent and effective

· Source knowledge: Solid source knowledge in area of expertise, if relevant; increasing source quality recognition and use of possible proxies
· Industry/functional knowledge: An understanding of the landscape of area of expertise in technology and analytics; knowledge and deep understanding of emerging technologies in Data and Analytics
· Research output: Excellent skills in synthesizing data / information into Firm- accepted formats to produce structured exhibits and spreadsheets and the extraction of the “so-what’s” from research
· Relationship building/networking: Proactive utilization of network within the Global Research community and beginning of identification of experts in the wider firm community

Requirements
· 4-7 years of qualified experience in secondary research/ Business research with demonstrated involvement in Data and Analytics/related Techniques and Technology projects
· Healthy mix of business research as well as Data and Analytics/ related technology development and implementation-based projects is preferred
· Post-graduate degree from a respected institution
· B.Tech in Information and Technology/Computer Science or Data and Analytics/ any relevant technology-related course is preferred
· Ideally, adding additional languages and multicultural experience
