Role Description
This is a full- time remote role for a Senior Database Developer at Insignia Consultancy Solutions. The Senior Database Developer will be responsible for database development, administration, and design. They will also be involved in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and utilize their analytical skills to ensure efficient and effective database operations.

Database Developer key skills

Oracle Database: An essential tool for managing and storing data in Oracle databases.
SQL Developer: A tool for developing PL/SQL code, managing Oracle databases, and executing SQL scripts.
Toad for Oracle: A database development and management tool that aids in database administration, PL/SQL coding,and performance tuning.
Oracle Data Modeler: Used for designing, creating, and managing database schemas and data models in Oracle databases.
PL/SQL Developer: A development setting for writing, testing, and debugging PL/SQL code efficiently.
Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM): Helps in monitoring, managing, and administering Oracle databases.
JSON Support in Oracle:



Understanding Oracle's native JSON capabilities for storing and querying JSON data efficiently
Version Control Systems (e.g., Git): To manage changes to database code, scripts, and configurations effectively.
Database Performance Tuning Tools: Tools like Oracle Automatic Workload Repository (AWR), Oracle SQL Tuning Advisor, and SQL Performance Analyzer for optimizing database performance.
Collaboration Tools: Platforms like Jira, Confluence, or communication tools for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications

- Database Development, Database Administration, and Database Design skills
- Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes
- Analytical skills for optimizing database performance
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with SQL and other database programming languages
- Knowledge of data modeling and database architecture
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience with cloud-based databases is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
