ry:Responsible for CAD design and detailing of front drive shaft interfaces components for passenger cars. Create 3D models and 2D drawings in CATIA, manage packaging and interfaces, release parts via PLM, and support builds and issue resolution in collaboration with Lead/System and supplie

Key Responsibilit

ies:• Create and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings in CATIA (GD&T;, drawing standards, B

OM).• Perform packaging and interface design (clearances, motion envelopes, serviceability, assembly feasibili

ty).• Apply DFM/DFA principles; select materials/processes (sheet metal, cast/forged, plastics, weldments as applicab





le).• Support tolerance stack-ups and design robustness; provide DFMEA inp

uts.• Release parts in PLM; manage ECR/ECO and configuration cont

rol.• Support supplier CAD data exchange, drawing reviews, and prototype/build issue clos

ure.• Support packaging integration of supplier shaft/CV joints; manage clearances with suspension/steering and thermal shie

lds.• Design OEM-owned brackets/shields/interfaces (where applicable) and release drawings/

BOM.
Required Qualificat

ions:• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering (or equival

ent).• 5–10 years hands-on CAD design experience in automotive components/sys

tems.• Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6, 2D drawing creation, GD&T;, and automotive release proce

sses.• Positive understanding of manufacturing processes and component integra

tion.
