FPGA Silicon Architecture Engineer (CAD & EDA Flows)
THE ROLE:
The AMD FPGA Architecture team (in Bangalore) is seeking motivated engineers to advance power efficiency and performance of current and next‑generation FPGA devices through interdisciplinary architectural innovation. This work spans circuit and CAD methodologies,
power–performance analysis and tradeoffs, algorithmic optimization, silicon and board‑level characterization, sensor design, and data‑driven modeling using statistical and machine‑learning techniques across pre‑ and post‑silicon phases.
THE PERSON:
You are passionate about modern VLSI architectures, algorithms, and applying machine‑learning and statistical techniques to improve designs, flows, and architectures. You are motivated to make tangible impact on design methodology, reliability, and energy efficiency of silicon devices on advanced technology nodes. You collaborate effectively across interdisciplinary teams and bring strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and a clear bias towards taking ideas from concept to execution and closure.
