The Packaging CAD Technologist is a critical technical specialist within the North America Packaging R&D; team. This role is responsible for translating packaging engineering requirements into exact, manufacturing-ready CAD technical drawings and Graphic Die-lines (GDLs).
This role combines CAD expertise, packaging technical knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure packaging technical drawing data is accurate and operationally ready. This directly enables speed-to-market and operational excellence across our North American portfolio.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Packaging Technical drawing & Graphics Dielines
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of packaging technical drawings and GDLs, including creation, revision, validation, release, and obsoletion.
- Develop manufacturing-ready CAD files based on inputs from Packaging Engineers, suppliers, and third-party CAD.
- Apply standardized templates, naming conventions, and revision control processes in accordance with data governa
