As a Principal Engineer, you will help shape the future of technology within Target’s Property space. This is a newly created leadership role that will own the technical strategy and architecture across Target’s property planning, design, construction, operations, and asset management systems. As we shift to a data-driven, integrated platform model, we need a system builder, someone who understands architecture at scale, embraces autonomy, and thrives at the intersection of engineering, product, and business strategy.

Architect the Future of Property Tech : Lead the design and evolution of a scalable, resilient, and intelligent platform for capital projects, smart buildings, design systems (e.g., Revit), and operations. Modernize Legacy Tech : Guide the transformation from vendor-heavy, siloed tools (e.g., MicroStation, Maximo) to modular, service-based architecture. Enable Data-Driven Decision-Making : Architect solutions that democratize access to property-related data - unlocking insights around location strategy, energy use, design efficiency, and operational health.
