Role Overview
Accenture is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our Finance team in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for professionals with 1–2 years of accounting experience who possess a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and are eager to contribute in a dynamic, process-driven setting.
As a Junior Accountant, you will support daily accounting operations, maintain financial records, assist with reconciliations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and record day-to-day accounting transactions accurately.
- Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting policies.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursement claims.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)



activities.
- Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Assist internal and external auditors by providing required financial documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory.
- 1–2 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or General Ledger.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF functions, data analysis).
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar accounting software .
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize task
