Job Description
Identifying risks of chemical interactions with materials and experimenting to mitigate the challenges Conducting various characterisation and compatibility tests to verify the chemical resistance of new or existing components Driving related failure analysis on failed materials from the field and creating failure prevention strategies Formulation and release of recent chemicals based on client needs and program requirements, aligned with safety,
process and core design Designing technical trade-off frameworks for various combinations with correlated risks
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate will have 4-10 years of experience post their PhD/Master's in characterising, analysing and processing thermoplastic, thermoset or other polymers. They must have an understanding of chemical analysis techniques like EDX, XRD, AFM, GC-MS etc and must exhibit strong problem-solving skills. They must be adept in communicating information, creating comprehensive reports and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
