SUMMARY
The role requires a high-caliber professional to join our Merchant Banking unit. This is a dual-role leadership position requiring a "hunter-executor" hybrid—someone who can independently originate high-value mandates while maintaining the technical rigor to oversee seamless execution. The ideal candidate will bring a sophisticated understanding of capital markets and a deep network of corporate relationships, ensuring the firm remains a dominant player in the competitive advisory landscape. He has to take the responsibility of building the entire team, training and allocating responsibilities.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Development & Revenue Generation: Identify and originate recent mandates across IPOs, Rights Issues, QIPs, Open Offers, and Buybacks. You will be responsible for meeting annual fee income targets and expanding the firm’s market share.
- Transaction Execution: Lead the end-to-end execution of capital market transactions. This includes overseeing due diligence, drafting offer documents (DRHP/RHP),



and managing the regulatory interface with SEBI and Stock Exchanges.
- Sector-Agnostic Advisory: Provide strategic financial counsel to clients across diverse industries, focusing on capital structuring and navigating complex regulatory frameworks.
- Relationship Management: Build and sustain long-term relationships with C-suite executives, promoters, and institutional investors.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior associates and analysts, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest institutional standards of quality and compliance.
TIME RECORDING:
- Accurately record chargeable time and value of service, ensure effective monitoring of transactions, handle pricing, invoicing and collection of outstanding fees for the portfolio of clients. - Monitor own productivity and chargeability on weekly basis and review productivity and performance against targets. to ensure that individual financial targets and client communication KPI
