- Perform structural analysis and design for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings in accordance with California Building Code (CBC), ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, NDS, TMS, and other applicable U.S. design standards.
- Design structural systems using steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and masonry.
- Review architectural, civil, geotechnical, and MEP drawings for coordination and constructability.
- Prepare structural calculations, design reports, and engineering documentation.
- Review and quality-check complete structural plan sets before submission.
- Prepare redline markups and coordinate revisions with drafting teams.
- Develop standardized engineering templates, design spreadsheets, calculation tools, AutoCAD details, and workflow improvements to increase efficiency and reduce project turnaround time.
- Participate in internal technical reviews and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance where required.
