PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Junior Clinical Data Analyst supports the preparation, analysis, and reporting of clinical trial data under the guidance of senior team members. The role assists with data processing, quality checks, report generation, and basic data analyses using R and/or SAS, while developing knowledge of clinical trial processes and industry standards.

The Junior Clinical Data Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Data Management, Clinical Science, and Clinical Operations, to help ensure that data deliverables are accurate, meet study requirements, and support clinical trial objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

Data Analytics and Reporting:

- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of clinical study reports using R and/or SAS under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support the generation of scheduled and ad hoc study reports according to study and client requirements.
- Perform basic data processing, quality checks, and validation of reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in creating tables, visualizations, and trend summaries to support study monitoring and decision-making.




- Support the maintenance and improvement of existing reporting tools, templates, and automated processes.
- Identify and report issues related to reporting tools or data outputs, and work with senior team members to support their resolution.
- Prepare subject-level and study-level outputs for internal teams, such as Project Management, Data Management, Clinical Science, and Clinical Operations.
- Maintain transparent documentation of reporting activities and follow departmental procedures and standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams under the guidance of senior team members to understand reporting requirements.
- Support the preparation of reports and data outputs for internal stakeholders.

Analytics Project Management:

- Maintain documentation of reporting processes, methodologies, and standard procedures.
- Assist in the development and testing of study metrics and reports based on defined requirements.
