We are looking for a Senior SQL Developer / SQL Lead to support a large enterprise analytics and automation platform for a long-term enterprise project in Kolkata. The selected candidate will design, develop, and manage complex SQL backend systems, including stored procedures, data pipelines, and database logic supporting enterprise applications and reporting workflows. The role also involves guiding junior SQL developers, reviewing their work, and ensuring high standards of database performance, reliability, and maintainability.
The candidate will collaborate closely with Power Apps developers, Power BI developers, business analysts, and cloud infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into scalable SQL solutions and support backend integration with enterprise applications and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Design and develop complex SQL stored procedures, views, and backend data logic using T-SQL.
2. Build and manage SQL data pipelines supporting enterprise applications and reporting systems.
3. Optimize query performance, indexing strategies, and database structures for large datasets.
4. Provide technical guidance to junior SQL developers and review database code.
5. Collaborate with Power Apps and Power BI teams to support application workflows and dashboards.

Translate business requirements into scalable SQL solutions and backend data models.
7. Support deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of database components across environments.

Required Skills
1. Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server / Azure SQL
2. Advanced proficiency in T-SQL development
3. Experience developing complex stored procedures, views, and backend data logic
4. Strong knowledge of query optimization and indexing strategies
5. Experience handling large datasets and enterprise-level data processing
6. Understanding of database design and data warehousing concepts
7.Ability to troubleshoot complex database and data processing issues

Preferred Skills
1. Exposure to Azure data environments
2. Familiarity with Power BI datasets and reporting integration
3. Experience supporting backend data for Power Apps or similar enterprise applications
4. Exposure to enterprise analytics or data platform projects

Candidate Profile
1. 6-10 years of experience in SQL development or data engineering
2. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
3. Ability to own backend SQL delivery for enterprise applications
4. Experience guiding or reviewing work of junior SQL developers
5. Comfortable working in enterprise project environments.
