Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations
- Assist compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, income tax, etc., as applicable) • Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits by providing required documents and explanations
- Analyze financial data and support management with MIS reports and variance analysis
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (operations, procurement, sales) to ensure accurate financial recording
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and finance policies
- Communicate effectively with auditors, consultants,
and internal stakeholders on finance-related matters
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com, BBA, or equivalent)
- 34 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles
- Experience in corporate finance or shared services environments preferred
- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards and regulatory requirements is an advantage
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally) and MS Excel
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Team-oriented with a proactive and skilled approach
