Job Title: Architect Intern

Job Overview:

We seek an enthusiastic, team-oriented, motivated, recent graduate or experienced Architect Intern to work with our team and with clients of the firm. Work to include developing architectural drawings using software, provide architectural support to the organization. Will play an active role in ensuring that project budgets, goals and deadlines are met by and keeping the Principal Architect informed with up-to-date reports.

Under the guidance of our Project Architects and Construction Managers, you will help bridge the gap between design concepts and on-site execution. This role offers hands-on experience in drafting, construction documentation, and site administration. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architecture Intern to join our dynamic team.
Salary Range for this job is anywhere between 2.5-3 LPA.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drafting & Documentation:

Prepare construction documents drawings from sketches by others. Develop specific parts of drawings. Propose solutions to design and construction problems. Assist in preparing and revising architectural plans, elevations, and details using industry-standard software.

- Design & Rendering:

Help develop conceptual design alternatives and produce high-quality 3D models and renderings for client presentations. Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders with clarity and confidence. Track and record project progress, timelines, and deliverables. Coordinate and attends meetings, prepares for meetings and take minutes.

- Construction Administration:

Review shop drawings, RFIs (Requests for Information), and submittals under the supervision of senior architects.



Work as part of a team to complete client projects in a timely manner and in budget.

- Site Support:

Assist with site visits, verify as-built measurements, and help track project progress against timelines. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate architectural elements with structural and mechanical systems.

- Research & Compliance:

Conduct preliminary research on local building codes, zoning ordinances, and sustainable building materials.

Job Requirements:

Architect Intern Skills and Qualification:

- Education:

Recently graduated with a bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or experienced Architect Intern.

- Software Proficiency:

Strong working knowledge of [AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, or Rhino] and other required software.

- Technical Knowledge:

Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and structural principles. Willingness to learn new skills and processes. Familiarity with graphic design tools for presentations and documentation.

- Soft Skills:

Excellent verbal communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. Creative mindset with a passion for architectural design

- Portfolio:

A portfolio demonstrating design sensibility, drafting skills, and 3D modelling capability is required.

Work Setting:
An Architect Intern is typically required to work from office. with frequent visits to the office for planning and coordination. Travel is essential for this role.
