Job Summary:
The Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring workplace health and safety policies to ensure a secure working environment. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and promotes a strong safety culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health & safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national safety regulations
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive measures
- Organize safety training programs and awareness sessions
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and prepare reports
- Maintain safety records and documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams and external authorities on safety matters
- Monitor use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safety equipment
