Role Summary

The State Head/Regional Operations Manager (SH/ROM) will lead and oversee Home Loan (HL) and Loan Against Property (LAP) operations across multiple states. The role involves driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, standardizing processes, improving productivity, and leading regional operations teams to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end operational management for Home Loan (HL) and Loan Against Property (LAP) businesses across the assigned region.
- Oversee loan disbursement processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
- Ensure thorough verification of legal reports, technical reports, property documents, valuation reports, and mortgage documentation.
- Monitor document archival processes and ensure proper custody and retrieval of customer records.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, RBI guidelines, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Drive operational excellence by improving turnaround time (TAT), reducing operational risk, and enhancing customer experience.
- Collaborate with Credit, Sales, Legal, Technical, Risk, Compliance, and Business teams for seamless operations.
- Review regional performance through MIS reports, productivity dashboards, and operational KPIs.




- Conduct periodic operational reviews and audits across branches to ensure process standardization.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop regional operations teams to build a high-performance culture.
- Ensure achievement of operational SLAs, quality benchmarks, and business objectives.

Team & Span of Control

- Manage operations across 3 states.
- Lead regional operations managers, branch operations teams, and support staff to ensure consistent operational performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
- 1015 years of experience in Home Loan/LAP operations, with significant regional or multi-location leadership experience.
- Strong expertise in mortgage operations, legal and technical document verification, property documentation, loan disbursement, and document archival.
- Proven experience in managing large teams across multiple locations.
- Solid analytical, leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent knowledge of operational controls, audit compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, operational dashboards, and loan management systems.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
