We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Mobile & Full-Stack engineering team. You will own the delivery, quality, and growth of a team building products across React Native (iOS & Android), mobile-web, and desktop-web. This is a hands-on leadership role you are expected to be deeply involved in technical decisions while also owning people, process, and roadmap execution.

The ideal candidate has a solid engineering foundation ideally in frontend and mobile and has successfully transitioned into managing and growing high-performing teams. Prior experience in e-commerce or consumer-tech products is strongly recommended, as is familiarity with growth and analytics tooling used to drive product decisions.

People & Leadership

- 14–16 years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 3–4 years in an Engineering Manager or equivalent leadership role
- Proven experience hiring, onboarding, and building engineering teams from the ground up
- Strong track record of conducting 1:1s, career development conversations, and performance reviews
- Ability to set clear goals, delegate effectively, and hold the team accountable for outcomes
- Experience working in a quick-paced product startup or scale-up environment

Delivery & Process

- Strong experience driving Agile / Scrum delivery — sprint planning,



estimation, retrospectives, and release management
- Ability to own end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional features across mobile and web
- Experience working closely with Product Managers and Designers to refine and prioritise the roadmap
- Comfortable communicating technical trade-offs and delivery timelines to senior stakeholders
- Experience managing dependencies across multiple engineering teams

Technical Depth

- Strong hands-on background in React Native (iOS & Android), mobile-web, and desktop-web development
- Solid understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript, modern frontend architecture, and state management patterns
- Familiarity with Firebase, MoEngage, and AppsFlyer — and experience using data from these tools to inform engineering and product decisions
- Understanding of Node.js and / or Python API development and micro-services architecture
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices — SSR / SSG strategies, Core Web Vitals, structured data
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, app store release processes, cloud environments (GCP / AWS), and containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes)
- E-commerce experience — understanding of catalog, cart, checkout, payments, and order management at scale
