Senior ServiceNow Application Developer for risks management tools development and maintenance. Experience in building integrations with external applications is essential, and exposure to GRC/IRM within ServiceNow is a plus.

Role & Responsibilities

- Act as the primary engineer for ServiceNow applications development.
- Design, develop, configure, and enhance applications on the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop and maintain integration between ServiceNow and other applications/tools.
- Support users of ServiceNow application developed in the team.
- Contribute to the development of new capabilities across the current and future tooling ecosystem.
- Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, development notes, and support materials.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and handover sessions.
- Support troubleshooting, bug fixing, and continuous improvement activities across the application landscape.
- Ensure development work follows positive engineering practices, maintainability standards, and documentation expectations.
- Good experience in software delivery processes (development best practices, test, delivery, maintenance, documentation, ...)
- Capacity to organize and lead knowledge Transfer to the team / mentoring and to organize code review with the team.
- Strong collaborative team spirit and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good written and verbal communication skills / fluent English

Education, Qualifications, and Certifications





- Degree / Diploma holders with development and cybersecurity knowledge
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English language

Skill Set

Mandatory skill set

- Strong hands-on 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow application development, JavaScript, MySQL.
- ServiceNow certifications (Certified Application Developer, Certified System Administrator)
- Experience developing custom applications, workflows, and platform capabilities in ServiceNow
- Strong experience building integrations between ServiceNow and external systems/applications
- Good understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, configuration, and scripting
- Experience with ServiceNow development best practices
- Experience with GRC/IRM modules is a plus
- Good understanding of software delivery processes
- Good knowledge of secure coding practices and application security principles
- Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.

Secondary skill set

- ServiceNow certification ?Certified Implementation Specialist - Risk and Compliance? would be a plus.
- Knowledge of development languages like Angular, Java, Python will be the added advantage
- Good to have knowledge of cybersecurity basics
- Good to have certification on IT and information security domain like ITIL, ISO 27001, GRC etc.
