About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer with 7-10 years of expertise in AWS cloud environments and Playwright automation testing. As a senior member of our QA team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced automated test suites for cloud-based applications, mentoring junior team members, ensuring quality at scale, and collaborating strategically with development and product teams to deliver robust enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop advanced automated test scripts using Playwright for complex web, mobile, and API applications
- Architect and manage test automation frameworks for enterprise-scale applications deployed on AWS
- Test cloud-based applications utilizing AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, etc.)
- Create comprehensive test strategy, test plans, and test cases covering functional, regression, performance, security, and compliance testing
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
- Lead automated test suite execution and provide in-depth analysis of results to identify bugs, performance issues, and bottlenecks
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members on best practices, automation strategies, and technical excellence
- Monitor, analyze,



and optimize application performance using AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and other monitoring tools
- Collaborate strategically with developers, DevOps, and product teams to define requirements and provide quality assurance recommendations
- Maintain and continuously improve test automation frameworks, ensuring scalability and maintainability
- Establish QA metrics, KPIs, and reporting dashboards to track test coverage and quality trends
- Document test results, create technical documentation, and provide comprehensive recommendations for improvement

Required Qualifications

- 6-11 years of hands-on experience in QA automation testing across enterprise applications
- 4+ years of proven expertise with Playwright for end-to-end automation testing
- 5+ years of extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFront, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages (JavaScript,Java, or C#)
- Expert-level understanding of test automation frameworks, design patterns, and best practices
- Strong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Advanced knowledge of API testing, RESTful web services, and microservices architecture
- Expert proficiency with version control systems (Git) and repository management
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and experience working in rapid-paced environments
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and lead QA initiatives
