Position Overview

We are hiring a technically solid PHP/Laravel Technical Lead who can lead a team of PHP/Laravel developers while contributing hands-on to backend development, system architecture, and project execution.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Laravel Framework, Core PHP, backend architecture, REST APIs, database optimization, system design, and software development best practices. The candidate must be capable of leading projects, reviewing code, mentoring developers, solving technical challenges, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the PHP/Laravel development team.
- Own end-to-end project execution, task planning, estimation, and delivery timelines.
- Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel and Core PHP.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and backend processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical solutions.
- Mentor developers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, UI/UX, and DevOps teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions, and technology decisions.
- Ensure application security, scalability, maintainability,



and high code quality.

- Strong experience in Laravel Framework and Core PHP.

- Git, Git Flow & Deployment Processes
- Queue Management, Caching (Redis/Memcached), and Job Scheduling

- Strong understanding of software architecture and scalable application design.
- Knowledge of application security best practices (OWASP).
- Experience with Linux servers, Apache/Nginx, and basic DevOps concepts is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Experience Required

- 8+ years of experience in PHP development.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel Framework.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Lead or Team Lead managing development teams and project delivery.

Preferred Candidate

- Hands-on technical leader with strong Laravel expertise.
- Proven experience leading teams of developers and delivering multiple projects.
- Strong experience in technical estimation, sprint planning, task allocation, and project ownership.
- Ability to mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and maintain high engineering standards.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.
