Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Executive to manage the end-to-end tendering process for government and private sector projects. The candidate will be responsible for identifying tender opportunities, preparing bid documents, coordinating with internal teams, ensuring compliance with tender requirements, and supporting business growth through successful bid participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Search and identify tender opportunities through GeM, CPPP, e-Procurement portals, government websites, PSUs, and private procurement portals.
- Review tender documents, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, commercial terms, and contractual conditions.
- Prepare and compile tender documents including EOIs, RFPs, RFQs, technical bids, commercial bids, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Legal, HR, Compliance, and Business Teams to collect required documents and information.
- Ensure timely submission of tenders in compliance with all technical and commercial requirements.
- Prepare checklists and maintain documentation to ensure complete and error-free bid submissions.
- Track tender status, corrigendums, bid openings, and post-bid communications.
- Coordinate with clients and procurement authorities for clarifications and required follow-ups.
- Maintain tender databases, bid trackers, MIS reports, and document repositories.
- Assist in preparing cost sheets, commercial comparisons, and bid summaries.
- Monitor bid deadlines and ensure timely renewal of registrations, certifications,
and statutory documents required for tender participation.
- Support management in preparing reports related to tender activities and business opportunities.
- Required Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of Government Procurement processes, GeM Portal, CPPP, and e-Tendering platforms.
- Understanding of tender documentation, bid submission procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Good drafting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and work within strict deadlines.
- Good coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or a related field.
- Experience in handling Government, PSU, or private sector tenders will be preferred.
- Experience in the Service Industry, e-Governance, Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance, or Business Support Services will be an added advantage.
