Role & responsibilities :

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients.
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient progress, and clinical observations.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, blood products, and treatments as prescribed by the treating physician.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, emergencies, and surgeries.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation in the Hospital Information System (HIS) and patient records.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and participate in CPR and Code Blue activities.
- Educate patients and their attendants regarding treatment plans, medications, diet,



and discharge instructions.
- Coordinate with doctors and allied healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and availability of nursing equipment and supplies.
- Follow NABH guidelines, hospital policies, and nursing standards.
- Perform shift handovers effectively and maintain continuity of patient care.

Educational Qualification

- GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) or
- B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration (Mandatory)
