Role & responsibilities

- Sample Development
- Coordinate the development of prototypes, fit samples, salesman samples, and pre-production samples.
- Ensure samples are developed according to buyer specifications, tech packs, and quality standards.
- Buyer Communication
- Communicate with buyers regarding sample requirements, comments, and approvals.
- Clarify design, fabric, trims, measurements, and construction details.
- Quality Control
- Inspect samples for workmanship, measurements, fit, and finishing.
- Ensure samples comply with buyer specifications before dispatch.
- Sample Tracking
- Maintain records of all samples, including development status, approvals, revisions, and dispatch details.
- Track sample movement between departments and buyers.
- Cost Estimation
- Assist in calculating sample costs, including fabric consumption, trims, labor, and overheads.
- Provide cost information for product development and pricing.
- Follow-up on Buyer Comments
- Review buyer feedback on submitted samples.
- Coordinate necessary corrections and arrange revised samples.
- Documentation
- Maintain sample registers, approval records, measurement sheets, and technical documents.
- Ensure proper documentation for future reference and production.
- Coordination with Departments
- Work closely with design,



sourcing, production, quality assurance, and logistics teams.
- Ensure smooth communication throughout the sample development process.
- Timely Dispatch
- Prepare samples for shipment according to buyer instructions.
- Coordinate packaging, labeling, and courier arrangements to meet deadlines.
- Support Bulk Production
- Ensure approved samples are handed over to the production team as the reference for bulk manufacturing.
- Help resolve technical issues before bulk production begins.
