The Indirect Procurement Manager for Cable & Harness manufacturing will be responsible for managing the indirect Capex, AMC and other for Cable and harnesses division or related . The role involves developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the cost-effective procurement of Capex and AMC.

And this role involves identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery of components, and maintaining quality standards. The candidate will have a strong understanding of Capex and AMC.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing of capex items and finalisation of AMC.

2. Monitor end to end installation of capex items.

3. Research and Identify new Suppliers.

4. Evaluate suppliers based on capability, capacity, technical expertise, quality certifications (e.g., ISO), and financial stability.

5. RFQ (Request for Quotation) Process

Create detailed RFQs outlining the required technical specifications, materials, volumes, lead times, and quality standards.

6. Evaluate supplier quotations based on cost, delivery timelines, technical capability, Comparative analysis and risk factors.

7. Negotiate the most favourable pricing while ensuring adherence to quality and performance.

8. Draft and finalize contracts that include terms on pricing, delivery, penalties for late or substandard products, and intellectual property protections.

9.



Maintain strong communication with suppliers to ensure delivery performance, problem resolution, and quality management.

10. Coordinate with suppliers to develop Molds for custom components, ensuring that tooling design aligns with part specifications and production volumes.

Requirements

- 15+ years of Experience in Capex and AMC with education of BE Electrical and electronics or Equivalent.
- Proven experience in a managerial or strategic role involving cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. Ability to motivate teams and drive initiatives forward.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic setting. Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
- This position typically involves working in an office environment.
- Travel may be required to meet with customers, attend industry events, visit operational sites.
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or supply chain management, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.
