Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented P&L; Manager to oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability across business units/projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A;), P&L; management, financial modelling, and business performance reporting, with the ability to support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and manage end-to-end Profit & Loss (P&L;) for business units or projects.
- Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Monitor revenue, costs, margins, and profitability, identifying key business drivers and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, cash flow analysis, and investment evaluation.
- Track key financial metrics such as IRR, NPV, ROI, EBITDA, and operating margins.
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and performance presentations for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, Projects, and Operations to improve financial performance.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to achieve business targets.
- Support capital allocation, business planning, and strategic investment decisions.
- Ensure financial governance, compliance, and risk monitoring across projects/business operations.




- Drive automation of reporting processes using Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics tools.

Required Qualifications

- MBA (Finance) / CA / CIMA / CFA (Preferred) or equivalent qualification.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Experience

- 25 years of experience in FP&A;, P&L; Management, Corporate Finance, Business Finance, or Financial Strategy.
- Experience in Real Estate, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, or similar industries is preferred.
- Strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and business performance analysis.
