ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our Mobile team in Chennai. You will

work closely with senior engineers and architects to build, maintain, and improve BankBazaar's

Flutter-based mobile app contributing to features that directly impact millions of users. This is a

hands-on engineering role focused on shipping high-quality, performant mobile experiences.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Design, develop, and ship new features and enhancements in the Flutter mobile app across

iOS and Android platforms

- Build modular, reusable Flutter widgets and maintain clean, well-tested Dart codebases
- Integrate REST APIs with the mobile app handling authentication (JWT), error states, and

data flows end to end

- Implement push notifications, deep linking, and in-app analytics instrumentation
- Work within CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable delivery of mobile builds
- Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews with the mobile team
- Debug and resolve performance issues — including rendering, memory, and network

bottlenecks

- Collaborate closely with Design, Product, and Backend teams to translate requirements into

polished mobile experiences

- Write and maintain unit and widget tests to ensure code quality





WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must Have

- 4–5 years of overall mobile development experience, with at least 2 years in Flutter / Dart• Solid understanding of Flutter architecture — widgets, state management (Provider, Bloc, or

Riverpod), and the widget lifecycle

- Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous data flows in Flutter
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD tools and app release pipelines (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or

similar)

- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
- Experience with version control using Git in a collaborative team workplace
- Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code with attention to edge cases

Good to Have

- Prior experience with native Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development
- Knowledge of push notifications, deep linking, or analytics SDKs in a mobile context
- Exposure to fintech or consumer internet products with high-traffic mobile apps
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and performance profiling on mobile
- Understanding of A/B experimentation frameworks on mobile
