Diploma Field Technicians for Assembly, Field Trials and Survey Support
Hiring Objective
Recruit diploma-qualified technicians who can support workshop assembly, field trials, demonstrations and survey work.
candidates must be travel-ready and comfortable flying or travelling anywhere in India or abroad at short notice.
Target : electrical/electronics-focused technician, with cross-training for field survey support.

Recommended Hiring Structure
The technicians should be recruited as a compact field technical team rather than as office-only assembly staff. Both should be suitable for marine robotics, survey support, customer demonstrations, defence/customer site visits and emergency troubleshooting during trials.

- should be trained for survey operations, deployment, recovery, checklists, spares management and field documentation.

Role - Electrical / Electronics Assembly & Field Technician
Qualification: Diploma in EEE, ECE, Electronics, Instrumentation or Mechatronics.
Experience: Fresher to 3 years. Practical wiring, soldering and troubleshooting ability is essential.
Key Responsibilities

- Wiring, soldering, crimping, cable harness preparation and connector assembly.
- Battery, DC-DC converter, ESC, relay, fuse, switch and power-distribution wiring.
- Integration of cameras, GPS, telemetry, Ethernet switch, router, sensors, lights and control electronics.




- Pre-trial checks: continuity, polarity, voltage, current, insulation, connector pinout and waterproof connection verification.
- Charging support, equipment power-up, data download and basic network troubleshooting during survey work.
- Field troubleshooting during USV, ROV, crawler and survey system trials.
- Maintain wiring notes, pinout sheets, test reports and service records.

Required Skills

- Good soldering, crimping, cable dressing and heat-shrink finishing.
- Confident use of multimeter for voltage, continuity and polarity checks.
- Basic understanding of DC systems such as 12 V, 24 V, 48 V and 400 V.
- Basic familiarity with batteries, connectors, relays, switches, ESCs, IP cameras and Ethernet devices.
- Ability to follow safety instructions while working with batteries and live electrical systems.

Practical Selection Test
Recommendation: do not select only by interview. Conduct a short practical test. The best candidate should show patience, neatness, safety awareness, ability to follow instructions and willingness to learn.
Electrical / Electronics Candidate Test

- Crimp a connector terminal and check pull strength.
- Solder a wire joint neatly and apply heat shrink.
- Use a multimeter to check continuity, polarity and battery voltage.
- Identify fuse, relay, DC-DC converter, ESC, switch, connector, battery positive and negative leads.
- Make a protected 12 V wiring connection with switch, fuse and load.
- Read a simple pinout table and verify the wire colours.

Priority 1: Discipline, field readiness and willingness to travel.
Priority 2: Hands-on practical skill and safety awareness.
Priority 3: Ability to learn Vikra systems quickly and work with engineers.
Avoid candidates who only want office/workshop work and are not ready for field travel.
