We are seeking an experienced and motivated Farm Manager to oversee and maintain our polyhouse/greenhouse farming operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture, modern farming practices, and greenhouse management, with a focus on optimizing crop yields and ensuring sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greenhouse Operations Management

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the polyhouse/greenhouse, ensuring optimal environmental conditions for crop growth.
- Monitor and control temperature, humidity, irrigation, and ventilation systems.

- Crop Planning and Management

- Plan and implement crop cycles, including planting, growing, and harvesting schedules.
- Conduct soil and plant health analysis to ensure optimal conditions for growth.
- Manage pest and disease control using organic or chemical methods as per best practices.

- Resource Management

- Supervise the procurement of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other necessary materials.
- Maintain and repair greenhouse infrastructure and equipment as needed.

- Team Leadership and Supervision

- Lead, train, and supervise farm workers and technicians to ensure adherence to operational standards.
- Assign tasks and monitor the performance of team members.

- Recordkeeping and Reporting

- Maintain records of crop production, resource usage, and operational expenses.




- Prepare regular reports on greenhouse performance, crop health, and yield.

- Compliance and Safety

- Ensure compliance with agricultural and environmental regulations.
- Enforce safety protocols to minimize risks for workers and the setting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in polyhouse/greenhouse management.
- Strong knowledge of modern farming practices, greenhouse technology, and irrigation systems.
- Experience in pest and disease management, crop planning, and yield optimization.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in recordkeeping and use of farm management software/tools (if applicable).
- Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing conditions.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of hydroponics or advanced greenhouse farming techniques.
- Experience with organic farming practices.
- Familiarity with climate control systems and automation in greenhouse environments.
