Role & responsibilities

- Plan and deliver age-appropriate theatre and drama classes for students from primary to secondary grades.
- Teach acting fundamentals, voice modulation, movement, improvisation, mime, storytelling, and character development.
- Develop students' communication, stage presence, creativity, confidence, and teamwork skills.
- Conceptualize, direct, and choreograph school plays, annual day performances, assemblies, and cultural events.
- Conduct auditions, rehearsals, and performance evaluations.
- Integrate theatre techniques into classroom learning to enhance student engagement.
- Mentor students for inter-school theatre competitions and performing arts festivals.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Theatre Arts, Performing Arts, Drama, or related discipline.
- Diploma or certification in Theatre, Acting, or Performing Arts is preferred.
- 12 years of experience as a Theatre Artist, Drama Teacher, or Stage Performer.
- Freshers with exceptional theatre experience and robust communication skills may also be considered.
