Required Skill Set: Informatica Power Exchange, Power Center

Must-Have**

(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

3 to 6 years of experience in Production Support activities on ETL Informatica Informatica Power Exchange, Power Center, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter (mappings, workflows, sessions, scheduling, troubleshooting).
• Experience with Informatica PowerExchange (CDC concepts, extraction configurations, integration into ETL workflows).
• Strong experience with Oracle database and advanced SQL.
• Strong PL/SQL development and performance tuning experience.
• Solid understanding of ETL concepts: joins, lookups, aggregations, incremental loads, SCD, data-quality controls.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum projects using tools such as Jira/Confluence.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication and collaboration

Good-to-Have

Snowflake or cloud data platform exposure




• Python/Shell scripting for automation and comparisons
• Experience with data governance/MDM/reference data concepts
• Exposure to CI/CD for ETL deployments and monitoring/log tools (Splunk/ELK)
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Splunk/ELK, cloud monitoring).

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Design and develop ETL mappings, workflows, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter, following development standards and best practices.

- Implement ingestion patterns using Informatica PowerExchange (CDC/real-time or near real-time extraction where applicable) and integrate with downstream ETL flows.

- Build and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (procedures, functions, packages) to support transformations, validations, and data reconciliation.

- Implement ETL controls: parameterization, restart/recovery, error handling, logging, audit columns, and incremental load strategies.
