Position: Logistics Manager / Sr. Manager

Job Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution. The role focuses on ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and seamless coordination across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
1. Supply Chain Strategy & Planning

- Develop and implement supply chain and logistics strategies aligned with business goals
- Plan demand forecasting, procurement coordination, and inventory optimization
- Improve supply chain efficiency and reduce lead times

2. Transportation & Distribution

- Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of materials/products
- Coordinate with transporters, vendors, and 3PL partners

3. Warehouse & Inventory Management

- Oversee warehouse operations including storage and dispatch
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize losses
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation

4. Cost Control & Budgeting

- Monitor logistics and supply chain costs
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and logistics partners

5. Process Improvement & Compliance

- Implement SOPs and best practices across supply chain operations




- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives

6. Systems & Technology

- Use ERP, WMS, and TMS systems for tracking and reporting
- Ensure real-time visibility of inventory and shipments
- Leverage technology for automation and efficiency

7. Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and project teams
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Ensure effective communication and issue resolution

8. Team Leadership

- Lead and manage logistics and warehouse teams
- Train and mentor team members
- Drive performance and operational excellence

Candidate Profile
Experience & Qualification

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- 1015 years of experience in logistics/supply chain roles
- Experience in construction/real estate/manufacturing preferred
