Job Title: Senior SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public

Shift time: 12 to 9 pm IST

Work Mode: Remote or Hybrid

Mode: Remote work is available for the first six months. After this period, candidates are expected to be flexible and willing to relocate to any Sutherland office based on project needs.

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced SAP consultant with strong expertise in Qualified Services (Projects) in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. The role will focus on design, configuration, and deployment of project-based financial and operational processes, including WBS-based execution, project billing, and integration with time and expense systems.

Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Implementation

- Lead implementation of Professional Services (Projects) in S/4HANA Public Cloud
- Configure:
- Project structures (WBS, milestones)
- Project profiles, billing elements
- Resource-related and fixed-price billing

- Align business processes with SAP Best Practices

Project Financials & Billing

- Design and configure:
- Project billing (time & material / fixed price)
- Revenue recognition (event-based / periodic)
- Cost planning and budgeting

- Integrate with Finance (FI/CO):

- Cost centers
- Profitability analysis





- Integrate project processes with:

- Timesheet systems (custom or standard)
- SAP SuccessFactors (if applicable)
- SAP Concur

- Ensure accurate cost capture and billing flow

Cross-Functional Integration

- Work with:
- Finance (FI/CO)
- Procurement (MM / SAP Ariba)
- Resource management

- Ensure end-to-end flow:

- Project creation staffing execution billing reporting

- Perform configuration via:

- CBC (Central Business Configuration)
- SSCUIs / configuration apps

- Define:

- Business rules
- Output forms

- Work on side-by-side extensibility (BTP) if required

Data Migration & Cutover

- Support:
- Migration of projects, WBS, balances
- Open project financials

- Plan and execute cutover activities

Required Skills

Functional Expertise

- Strong knowledge of:
- Project Systems / Professional Services in S/4HANA
- WBS-based project execution
- Project billing and revenue recognition

- Experience with:

- CBC configuration
- Scope items (e.g., 4E9, J11, etc.)
- Fiori apps and business catalogs

- 5 - 10 years SAP experience
- At least 1 - 2 end-to-end S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations
- Experience in professional services / project-based industries preferred
