Data Analytics Unit

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain data models, views, and schemas in Snowflake
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions (UDFs)
- Implement and manage ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion from multiple sources
- Optimize Snowflake performance using clustering, caching, partitioning, and query tuning
- Implement data security, access control, and governance using Snowflake best practices
- Work with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) for data integration and orchestration
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Perform data quality checks, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Support CI/CD implementation for data pipelines and deployments

Additional Responsibilities:

- 25 years of overall experience in data engineering / data warehousing
- Strong proficiency in SQL and performance tuning




- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Matillion, Talend, dbt, Airflow)
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, dimensional modeling)
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of data integration techniques and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet)
- Experience with version control tools such as Git
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Technical and Professional Requirements:

- Primary skills: Technology->Data on Cloud-DataStore->Snowflake
- Strong experience in Snowflake Data Warehousing
- Proficiency in SQL (advanced joins, analytical functions)
- Hands-on with ETL/ELT tools
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Knowledge of data modeling (star/snowflake schema)
- Familiarity with Python or scripting is a plus
- Understanding of data pipelines and workflow orchestration
