Position Overview

The Head – Maintenance & Projects will lead the end-to-end maintenance and project management function across all Nature's Basket stores in Mumbai. The role is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted store operations by maintaining all assets, executing new store fit-outs, renovations, and refurbishment projects while optimizing costs, vendor performance, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all retail stores and corporate facilities.
- Ensure timely maintenance of electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, civil, fire safety, and mechanical systems.
- Lead recent store fit-outs, renovations, relocations, and refurbishment projects from planning to handover.
- Prepare project timelines, budgets, BOQs, and execution plans.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants,



contractors, landlords, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage vendors, negotiate contracts, monitor SLAs, and evaluate performance.
- Prepare annual maintenance and CAPEX budgets and control costs.
- Ensure statutory compliance related to fire safety, electrical systems, and local regulations.
- Lead and mentor the maintenance and projects team.
- Provide MIS reports and support new store expansion through technical feasibility assessments.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.

- 10–15 years of experience in Retail, Supermarket, Hypermarket, Hospitality, or QSR.

- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.

- Experience in handling multiple store locations and retail fit-outs is mandatory.
