In this role, you will apply your expertise to develop, review, and optimize machining strategies, toolpaths, and CNC programs, ensuring technically accurate and production-ready solutions.What You'll- DoCreate and review data grounded in real CAM and CNC milling practice, toolpaths, process plans, tooling and fixturing decision- s.Evaluate AI-generated machining solutions (toolpaths, strategies, DFM feedback) and flag failure modes: collisions, gouges, poor engagement, unrealistic cycle time- s.Break complex machining and process-planning tasks into structured workflows the model can learn from and be measured against.Domain Responsibilit- iesDevelop and assess CNC milling programs from 2.5-axis through5-axis simultaneous, judging correctness and efficiency of toolpat- hs.Define and review machining strategies, tool selection, fixturing, and cutting parameters against quality, cost,



and cycle-time targe- ts.Perform virtual toolpath verification and collision detection; assess post-processing to specific machine controlle- rs.Give sharp DFM feedback and predict whether a strategy survives contact with real production.RequirementsMust- HaveB.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or related) from a Tier 1/Tier 2 instit- ute.5+ years of hands-on CAM programming with deep CNC milling mastery, across materials (aluminium, steel, titanium, composites), machine types (3-axis through5-axis machining centres), and both prototype and volume environme- nts.Command of a leading CAM package (Mastercam, NX CAM, Fusion360, PowerMill, or Espr- it).Robust grasp of machining processes, cutting tools, GD&T;, and metrology; fluent reading of complex drawings.Good to- Have5-axis simultaneous machining and post-processor develop- ment.Mill-turn / Swiss-type expo- sure.Python or tool-specific scripting/macros; CMM programming.Interested candidates are required to complete the attached CAM assessment as part of the application process and submit @[email protected] one of the three CAM projects and continue machining from the provided STEP file by setting up the stock, work coordinate system, tools, and CNC toolpaths based on the DXF, DWG, and PDF references.
