About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in PLC Programming, SCADA Development, HMI, Industrial Communication Protocols, and Machine/Process Automation. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, commissioning, and supporting industrial automation solutions for manufacturing and process industries.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement PLC, SCADA, and HMI-based automation solutions.
- Develop and debug PLC programs using Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Beckhoff PLCs.
- Configure SCADA applications for monitoring, control, and data acquisition.
- Integrate PLCs with SCADA systems, sensors, drives, and third-party devices.
- Execute FAT, SAT, onsite commissioning, and system validation activities.
- Troubleshoot automation systems and provide effective root cause analysis.
- Configure and support industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP/RTU, EtherNet/IP, OPC, and OPC UA.
- Prepare technical documentation, functional specifications, test reports, and commissioning documents.
- Work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver automation projects.
- Support Industry 4.0, IIoT, MES integration,



and digital transformation initiatives.

Required Skills

- 5–8 years of experience in Industrial Automation.
- Solid expertise in PLC Programming and SCADA Development.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens (TIA Portal, STEP 7, WinCC).
- Experience with Mitsubishi and/or Beckhoff PLCs.
- Strong knowledge of PLC-SCADA Integration.
- Experience in Machine Automation and Process Automation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and commissioning skills.
- Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols.

Preferred Skills

- OPC UA Architecture and Information Modelling.
- OPC UA Companion Specifications / NodeSet Development.
- Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, and IIoT.
- MES Integration and Manufacturing Digitalization.
- Cloud-based industrial platforms and analytics exposure.

Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
