- The Safety in charge shall be responsible for management of the Safety Program.
- The Safety in charge is responsible for directing all safety activities within the company. He or she has the authority to immediately stop or modify any situation of work or likely to result in a loss or injury.
- Coordinate safety activities and implement new safety procedures for the firm's entire operation, including jobsites.
- Analyze accident records to determine high hazard jobs/procedures, as well as to remain in compliance with safety standards.
- Perform periodic review and update of the Safety Program.
- Schedule and attend safety meetings on a regular basis, and ensure that useful and engaging subject matter is being presented.
- Supervise and evaluate accident investigation procedures, including follow-up, corrective actions.
- Plan and direct a "Self-Inspection" Program for the firm. Self-inspection should be performed on a regular basis with appropriate documentation.
- Submit regular reports to senior management regarding the status of the Safety Program.
- Ensure that periodic tool box talks are held for all employees and provide subject material.
- Periodic review to be attended during client review.
- Lead the Safety Committee.
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate
- Diploma in NEBOSH/Safety Courses.
Minimum Previous Experience:
- Fresher to 1 year Experience
Minimum Additional Training (Not Mandatory):
- Microsoft Office
Other Skills:
- Able to communicate well in Hindi, Telugu and English
- Motivator and Team worker/Leader.
