We are looking for an experienced Laptop Service Engineer with strong knowledge of chip-level and card-level laptop repair. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing hardware faults, repairing laptop motherboards, replacing defective components, handling software-related issues, and ensuring timely completion of service jobs.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose laptop hardware, motherboard, power, display, charging, and boot-related problems.

- Perform chip-level troubleshooting and motherboard component-level repair.

- Repair no-power, no-display, auto-shutdown, overheating, charging, and short-circuit issues.

- Identify and replace faulty ICs, MOSFETs, capacitors, resistors, diodes, coils, connectors, and other motherboard components.

- Perform BIOS programming, BIOS recovery, and firmware updates.

- Handle card-level replacement of motherboards, RAM, SSD, HDD, keyboards, displays, batteries, adapters, cooling fans, and other laptop parts.

- Carry out soldering, desoldering, jumper work, track repair, and DC power-supply testing.

- Use multimeters, soldering stations, hot-air stations, BIOS programmers, microscopes, and other diagnostic tools.

- Troubleshoot Windows installation, driver, operating-system, and basic software issues.

- Conduct complete quality testing after repair.

- Maintain accurate service records, repair notes, spare-parts usage, and customer complaint details.

- Provide transparent repair estimates and technical updates to the service coordinator or customer.

- Complete repairs within the committed service turnaround time.

- Maintain proper care of customer laptops, tools, and workshop equipment.





- Support junior technicians and branch staff with technical guidance when required.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of laptop motherboard architecture and electronic components.

- Experience in chip-level and card-level laptop servicing.

- Ability to read motherboard schematics and board-view files.

- Knowledge of power sequencing, voltage testing, and short-circuit detection.

- Experience in BIOS programming and motherboard troubleshooting.

- Good soldering and desoldering skills.

- Knowledge of laptop screens, keyboards, batteries, adapters, RAM, SSDs, hard disks, and cooling systems.

- Ability to repair laptops from brands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, Apple, and other leading brands.

- Basic knowledge of Windows installation, drivers, antivirus, data backup, and software troubleshooting.

Qualification

- ITI, Diploma, or certification in Electronics, Computer Hardware, Laptop Repair, or a related field.

- Candidates with strong practical experience may also apply.

Experience

- Minimum 25 years of experience in laptop chip-level and card-level repair.

- Candidates capable of independently diagnosing and repairing motherboard faults will be preferred.
