Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Senior Full Stack Developer (Python Backend) with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Python backend development, microservices architecture, REST API development, databases, cloud platforms, and modern development practices.
The candidate will be responsible for building robust backend services, developing scalable solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Build and manage scalable microservices-based architectures.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for performance, security, and reliability.
- Work with PostgreSQL / SQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including Cloud Run and Pub/Sub.
- Implement unit testing and integration testing using pytest.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and QA teams.
- Ensure code quality using version control systems such as Git.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications.
Primary Skills Required
- Strong experience in Python development.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI.
- Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
- Experience in REST API development.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL / SQL databases.
- Experience with GCP services (Cloud Run, Pub/Sub).
- Experience with pytest for unit and integration testing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of Git and version control practices.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with Angular.
- Knowledge of Payment Domain.
- Experience working on scalable enterprise applications.
