Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA with robust Oracle GoldenGate Administration expertise to manage and support mission-critical Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration, GoldenGate replication, high availability solutions, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle Databases (11g/12c/19c).
- Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate replication environments.
- Configure and administer Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard environments.
- Perform database installation, upgrades, patching, cloning, and migrations.
- Manage database backup and recovery using RMAN.
- Monitor database performance and perform performance tuning.
- Administer database users, roles, security, and tablespaces.
- Perform database refreshes, cloning, and environment management.
- Monitor and resolve Oracle GoldenGate Extract, Pump, and Replicat issues.
- Support disaster recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution.
- Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and development teams during deployments and production support.
- Prepare technical documentation, SOPs,



and operational runbooks.
- Provide production support and participate in on-call and shift support.

Required Skills

- 710 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration.
- Strong experience with Oracle GoldenGate Administration.
- Experience with Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
- Strong knowledge of RMAN Backup & Recovery.
- Expertise in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Experience with database patching, upgrades, migrations, and cloning.
- Experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and Shell scripting.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise production environments.

Preferred Skills

- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Database Administration.
- Oracle Exadata Administration.
- Oracle GoldenGate Microservices Architecture.
- Automation using Shell/Ansible.
- Oracle DBA and/or Oracle GoldenGate certifications.

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, and provide 247 production support.
