About the Role

KPI Partners is looking for an experienced MS Fabric Data Engineer with a strong background in Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS) to join our growing Data Engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize up-to-date data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, enabling seamless data integration, transformation, and analytics across enterprise systems.

You will play a key role in building scalable data pipelines, orchestrating data workflows, and supporting enterprise reporting by integrating Oracle EBS with Microsoft Fabric.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement scalable data integration solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
- Build and maintain Fabric Data Factory pipelines for data ingestion and transformation from Oracle EBS and other enterprise data sources.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for efficient data movement and transformation.
- Create and manage Data Factory pipelines, Copy Activities, Dataflow Gen2, and Notebook executions.
- Orchestrate end-to-end data workflows, including Bronze Silver Gold (Medallion Architecture) data processing.
- Configure pipeline scheduling, dependency chains, retry policies, timeout handling, and failure notifications.
- Implement parameterized pipelines, variables, and dynamic expressions for reusable and scalable data solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and data quality.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and ensure timely issue resolution.




- Develop and maintain technical documentation and adhere to data engineering best practices.
- Stay current with the latest Microsoft Fabric features and industry best practices.

Required Skills

- 612 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience building and managing Fabric Data Factory Pipelines.
- Expertise in Dataflow Gen2, Copy Activity, and Notebook orchestration.
- Experience implementing pipeline dependencies, retry mechanisms, timeout handling, parameter passing, variables, and dynamic expressions.
- Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
- Experience integrating enterprise applications, preferably Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS).
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development and data transformation.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with PySpark, Spark notebooks, or Python.
- Exposure to Power BI or other data visualization tools.
- Experience working in Azure cloud environments.
- Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Engineering certifications are an added advantage.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
