What would you do?
Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on the goods and services that run their day-to-day business operations. Sourcing involves identifying and acquiring goods and services needed by an organization. This role includes researching suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships. It also involves evaluating the quality and cost-effectiveness of products and services. The goal is to ensure the organization obtains the best value while meeting its procurement needs efficiently. Understand when & how to use a request for proposal (price and non-price factors) and RFQ (price only) and how to develop, execute and analyze the results. Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative information to assess, screen and select suppliers.
What are we looking for?
- Run electricity and natural gas RFPs across North America to solicit and evaluate supplier bids.
- Conduct detailed due diligence to ensure bids are accurate, complete,
and aligned with RFP requirements.
- Develop and present client recommendation reports, clearly articulating the rationale for selected suppliers and products.
- Negotiate pricing and key commercial terms with suppliers.
- Support in building market intelligence by developing reports on deregulated energy markets across regions.
- Prepare accrual reports and pricing upload Energy procurement knowledge in North America
Roles and Responsibilities:
- In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems
- Your day to day interactions are with peers within Accenture
- You are likely to have some interaction with clients and/or Accenture management
- You will be given minimal instruction on daily work/tasks and a moderate level of instruction on current assignments

- In this role you would be an individual contributor and/or oversee a small work effort and/or team
