Position Overview:

As a Front-of-House Associate cum Pharmacist at Dr. Paws, you will be the first point of contact for customers and pets, ensuring a warm, efficient, and professional clinic experience. The role combines customer service, pharmacy operations, billing support, and basic clinic administration. You will be responsible for dispensing medicines as per doctors’ prescriptions, advising on dosage, maintaining accurate billing and inventory checks, and ensuring proper storage of medicines under required refrigeration and security standards. You will work closely with doctors to ensure 100% prescription fulfillment while upholding the service excellence Dr. Paws is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage pharmacy inventory by entering stock details in the system, maintaining records of out-of-stock items, verifying inward stock (quantity, MRP, batch, expiry), and ensuring proper storage conditions.
- Conduct regular stock audits,



including category-wise physical stock verification twice a week and daily rack-wise checks for fast-moving items.
- Dispense medicines strictly as per doctor’s prescription, ensure accurate billing, cross-check issued items, and maintain complete bill and receipt records.
- Handle front-desk operations by attending phone calls and messages, scheduling and confirming appointments, and ensuring smooth shift handovers.
- Deliver a welcoming customer experience by greeting pets and owners, engaging with them during wait times, promoting Dr. Paws membership plans, and recommending relevant pet products.
- Support overall clinic operations by coordinating with housekeeping, managing opening and closing procedures, meeting pharmacy sales targets, and performing additional duties assigned by the in-charge.

Requirements:

- English language skills, both spoken and written.
- D. Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm qualification with valid PCI License ONLY (must be free and not attached to any pharmacy currently)
- Willing to attach their PCI License with Dr. Paws
- Confident and engaging personality with excellent communication skills.
- Solid foundation in customer service or hospitality, with a positive and welcoming attitude.
- A genuine affinity for animals and comfort in being around dogs or cats.
- Ability to work with basic software systems, such as appointment scheduling tools and billing systems.
- Quick to learn new processes, open to constructive feedback, and eager to improve.
