Role Overview

MBF Universe is looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to manage finance, taxation, statutory compliance, accounting systems, and financial planning across its rapidly expanding national ecosystem.

The selected professional will support MBF Universe, Millet Powerhouses, Branded Packing Units (BPUs), District Stockists, Micro Stores, Millet Mothers, Food Points, and other business divisions by ensuring strong financial governance and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Finance

- Manage the financial operations of MBF Universe.
- Prepare financial statements and MIS reports.
- Develop budgets and financial projections.
- Support strategic financial planning.
- Monitor profitability across business divisions.

Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Verify accounting records.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital.
- Ensure timely accounting closure.

GST & Taxation

- GST registration and compliance.
- GST return filing.
- Income Tax compliance.
- TDS calculation and filing.
- Tax planning and advisory.
- Respond to tax notices and assessments.

Financial Compliance

Guide and support compliance related to:

- Companies Act
- Income Tax Act
- GST Act
- MSME regulations
- ROC filings
- Statutory audits
- Internal financial controls

Audit & Financial Review

- Internal audits.
- Financial verification.
- Inventory and stock audits.
- Cost analysis.
- Risk assessment.
- Financial process improvements.

Business Partner Support

Provide financial guidance to:

- Millet Powerhouses
- Branded Packing Units (BPUs)
- District Stockists
- Millet Micro Stores
- Millet Mothers
- Food Points
- State Partners
- Corporate Office

Banking & Finance





- Coordinate with banks.
- Loan documentation support.

- Salary processing.

- Vendor payment verification.

Financial Reporting

Prepare and review:

- Profit & Loss Statements
- Balance Sheets
- Cash Flow Statements
- Monthly MIS Reports
- Budget Reports
- Financial Performance Dashboards

Investment & Business Advisory

Support management with:

- Investment planning
- Financial feasibility studies
- Business expansion planning
- Cost-benefit analysis
- Capital allocation
- Financial risk management

Required Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (ICAI) Mandatory
- Membership in ICAI
- Experience in accounting, taxation, and corporate finance preferred
