Automation Test Engineer (UFT, Selenium, DB & Mainframe) Position: Automation Test Engineer / Senior Test Engineer Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Micro Focus UFT (Unified Functional Testing) and Selenium WebDriver automation frameworks. The candidate should possess database knowledge for backend validation and experience working with Mainframe Testing. The role involves designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts while ensuring application quality across web, database, and legacy systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using UFT and Selenium WebDriver. Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios. Automate web-based and Mainframe testing. Perform backend validation using SQL queries and database testing techniques. Analyze requirements and prepare test cases, test data, and test execution reports. Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Participate in test planning, estimation, and sprint activities in Agile environments. Maintain automation frameworks and improve test execution efficiency. Support CI/CD and continuous testing initiatives. Required Skills Automation Testing Strong experience in UFT (QTP) automation. Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java or C#.



Experience in automation framework development and maintenance. Knowledge of TestNG/JUnit and Maven/Gradle (preferred). Experience with data-driven and keyword-driven frameworks. Database Testing Good understanding of relational databases. Ability to write and execute SQL queries. Experience validating backend data against application results. Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, or similar databases. Testing Concepts Functional Testing Regression Testing Integration Testing System Testing Defect Lifecycle Management Test Case Design Techniques Tools UFT Selenium WebDriver Jira Git SQL Tools Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 57 years of QA Automation experience. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions. UFT and Selenium certifications are an added advantage.
