Role & Responsibility -

The FPGA Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and enhancing core technologies by conceptualizing, designing, prototyping, and deploying end-to-end FPGA-based system. The role also includes defining system architectures, establishing best practices, and ensuring robust and scalable deployments of image processing algorithms required for visible and thermal camera development.

• Design and develop FPGA architectures for thermal and visible camera systems.

- Design, develop, and validate FPGA-based systems with strong RTL programming skills in VHDL/Verilog.
- Familiarity with Tools: Xilinx ISE / Xilinx Vivado / Quartus Prime.
- Good hands-on experience in Altera / Xilinx FPGA/ Microchip.
- Work on multi-clock domain designs and asynchronous interfaces.
- Perform static timing analysis to ensure reliable system performance. • Interface with external memories and peripherals (serial and parallel). • Design reset logic, apply isolation techniques, and manage unused pin termination.
- Integrate and test systems using tools like JTAG,



oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
- Experience in selecting required type of electronics hardware and fpga for given application
- Interfacing analog circuits with digital circuits.
- Strong understanding of different types of communication SPI, I2C, UART, interrupt etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and productive FPGA solutions.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

• B.Tech (EE/ECE), M.Tech (VLSI, Embedded, Electronics) and related to this field.

• Required experience: 2 - 7 years as a FPGA design engineer.

• Knowledge of working with Xilinx FPGA/ Altera/ Microchip.

• Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog for RTL design.

• Experience in working with tools Xilinx ISE / Xilinx Vivado / Quartus Prime.

• Knowledge of SPI, I2C, UART etc. communication protocol.

• Must have working experience on thermal image processing/ video pipeline.
