Job Summary

We are looking for skilled and motivated ITI-qualified Turners, Fitters, and Welders with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a steel or similar plant. The candidate will be responsible for fabrication, fitting, machining, maintenance, and repair activities while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain machines, tools, and equipment as per standard operating procedures.
- Perform turning, fitting, welding, fabrication, and assembly work according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment.
- Repair and replace damaged machine parts, structures, and mechanical components.
- Inspect finished jobs to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
- Follow production schedules to achieve daily targets.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, measuring instruments, and welding equipment.
- Adhere strictly to plant safety procedures, PPE requirements,



and environmental regulations.
- Report equipment abnormalities, safety concerns, and maintenance requirements to supervisors.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.

Required Qualification, Experience & Skills

- ITI Certificate in Turner, Fitter, or Welder.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a Alloys, Steel, Foundry, or Heavy Engineering manufacturing plant.
- Physically fit to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of mechanical fitting, machining, fabrication, and welding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments, familiarity with arc welding, gas cutting, grinding, drilling, and basic machining operations.
- Awareness of industrial safety standards and protected work practices.
- Ability to work in shifts and under production pressure.
- Good teamwork, discipline, and communication skills.
